Milburn Taylor, a native Texan from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is an advertising Milburn has held a variety of creative positions at nationally recognized advertising "Byrdtales" comes from Milburn's longtime interest in using "cute" little birds in many of his advertising projects. The characters are fun, friendly and have always been appropriate when used to make a point. Drawing a cartoon panel seemed to be a natural way to further express Milburn's observations of the world around us. Although the characters have been around for more than 30 years, "Byrdtales" is new. Milburn Creative Over the years Milburn has become uniquely qualified to help business owners, public relation professionals, and marketing directors "think through" their projects. He always looks for “natural solutions” in client projects—then he adds a creative twist to make the results more effective and memorable. The strength in many of Milburn's designs comes from his ability to add warmth and personality to a client's marketing materials. He has the strong belief that people enjoy knowing who they are working with. As he often says, "People like doing business with people they like." Clients have included local and regional advertising agencies, public relation firms, banks, real estate companies, chambers of commerce, and small business owners, as well as national and international companies. Milburn brings an diversity of national and international perspectives to his work as a result of on his travel experiences. Milburn and his wife, Ruth, a Professor of Marketing, at Texas State University, have had the privilege of traveling throughout the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, England, Europe, Morocco, Costa Rica and most recently Peru.
